A Q Contemporary  Meet the Artist címen olyan beszélgetéssorozatot indítunk, amelynek keretei között a Q Contemproary-ban kiállító művészekkel beszélgetünk inspirációkról, előképekről, referenciákról, múltról és jövőbeli víziókról, és a kiállított munkáik készülését követő időszak aktualitásairól.

A 25 éves magyar fotós, Kis-Kéry Anna tavaly felyezte be tanulmányait a MOME fotó szakán. Diplomamunkája  Szakadatlan Szépség címmel a Q Contemporary Project Space első kiállítása, ahol fiatal művészeknek szeretnénk bemutatkozási lehetőséget biztosítani.

At “Meet the Artist” series, we talk to the exhibiting artists about inspirations, references, past and future visions, and the post-production period. The fifth guest of the series is visual artist and photographer, Anna Kis-Kéry.⁠

25-year-old Hungarian photographer @___annakiskery___ graduated last year at @mome___photography with a master’s degree. Her diploma work, ’Perpetual Beauty’ is the first solo exhibition at @qcontemporary’s Project Space, which is committed to supporting young artists. During her university years, she became interested in the contrast of self-acceptance and the feeling of insecurity among women. Through her series, Kis-Kéry aimed to document women of all ages and sizes to represent the essential beauty of the eternal feminine form, free from the constructs of beauty standards in our modern society. Her works present a timeless depiction of the female body while leaving its erotic nature behind. She is concerned with the interconnections between different branches of art and the effects of social media on #contemporaryphotography.⁠ ⁠

Undoubtedly, 2021 was a big year for her, as she was also admitted to @ffs_budapest, the Studio of Young Photographers, presented both at the @xlvispace online exhibition and at the @photopenup festival in Padova, and featured in the special edition of the @apartpublications magazine!⁠
