A Zoopolis fantasztikus kerámia lények otthona, melyeket Mana Bucur művész álmodott meg, és amelyeken keresztül az anyag, az idő és a hibridizált mitikus lények, nevezetesen a griffek állatseregletét idézi fel. A művész az ősi kreativitás emlékeiben merülve, lelkesen tárja fel és hozza felszínre a humorral és fantáziával zseniális formák váratlan együtteseit, melyek egyfajta miniatűr szörnyetegeket eredményeznek, melyeket megszelídít, és amelyek játékosságukkal megszerettetnek. Ezek a hibrid lények a griffek birodalmának történetébe csöppenhetnek, melyek régmúlt időkből származó, elfeledett titkokat hoznak magukkal. Csak a művész kezében kelnek életre, materializálódnak, majd kitalált módon kölcsönhatásba léphetnek egymással a képzeletünkben. Ha az alkotás korábbi ciklusai egy varázsdoboz-csapda ötletéből indultak ki, valójában a belső tér, a dolgok tartalmának ötletéből, amelyet a kiállításain elutasított, most ez a belső tér ötlete extrapolálódik, átalakul, és elvezet a fantasztikus karakterek univerzumának ("polisz") belsejéhez. Zoopolis is a home for fantastic ceramic creatures, imagined by artist Mana Bucur, through which she evokes material, time and a hybridized mythical animal horde, namely the griffins. Immersed in the memories of ancient creativity, the artist enthusiastically explores and brings to the surface unexpected combinations of ingenious forms with humor and fantasy, resulting in a kind of miniature monsters that are tamed and endeared with their playfulness. These hybrid creatures can be plunged into the history of the griffin kingdom, bringing with them forgotten secrets from ancient times. Only in the hands of the artist can they come to life, materialize and then interact with each other in a fictional way in our imagination. If the previous cycles of the work started from the idea of ​​a magic box-trap, in fact from the idea of ​​the interior space, the content of things, which he rejected in his exhibitions, now this idea of ​​the interior space is extrapolated, transformed and leads to the interior of the universe ("polis") of fantastic characters. Zoopolis este sălașul unor creaturi ceramice fantastice, imaginat de artista Mana Bucur, prin care propune deopotrivă evocarea materiei, a timpurilor și a unor făpturi mitice hibridizate, respectiv menajeria cu gryphoni. Plonjând în memoria ancestrală a creativității, artista extrage cu apetență și aduce la suprafață cu mult umor și fantezie, asamblări neașteptate de forme ingenioase rezultând un fel de monștri miniaturali pe care îi îmblânzește și pe care, prin ludicul lor, te determină să-i îndrăgești. Aceste creaturi hibride pot fi prinse într-o poveste a tărâmului gryphonilor ce aduc cu ei secrete uitate din alte timpuri. Ele prind viață, se materializează doar în mâinile artistei și, mai apoi, fictiv, pot interacționa, mai departe, în imaginația noastră. / Cora FODOR istoric de artă
