Christina Werner folyamatban lévő kutatásában, amelyen a Budapesten töltött egy hónapos rezidenciaprogram alatt is dolgozott, a 21. századi emlékezetpolitika és nacionalizmus kapcsolatát elemzi. A „Éjjel ellopták a múltunkat” című projekt Budapest köztereivel foglalkozik és Werner az ott található szobrok, emlékművek áthelyezését, az ezekhez kapcsolódó problémaköröket vizsgálja. A nyitott műterem során ezeket az új munkákat fogja bemutatni.

Christina rezidenciaprogramját az AIR Niederösterreichhel való együttműködés teszi lehetővé.

In her ongoing research project, which she conducted during her one month residency in Budapest, Christina Werner deals with the notion of memory politics and nationalism in the 21st century. In the work titled 'In the night they steal our past' the artist deals with the replacement / reorganization of memorials and statues in the public spaces in Budapest. During her open studio she will present these new works.

Christina's residency is based on the collaboration with AIR Niederösterreich.
